What Things Does Light Affect?

It's been a while!

I take my limited time available, before diving head first into the big exam period, to make an appearance. And I'm in the mood to take stock of the goods things that I discovered these days, so let's go!

Music: Johann David Heinichen : Dresden Concerti (2CD) :

This is classical music, a little-known Baroque composer, Johann David Heinichen. It's an album with varied melodies, tonic really well highlighted by a perfect orchestration.

Like many, I think classical music is fairly inaccessible, it is a complex style, extremely provided, and apart from the classics is the galley to find something to suit him: the openings are often the only pieces catchy, many compositions are extending, etc..

Well this album has the distinction of being very accessible, and it gave me an immediate listening pleasure. The instruments are simple: flutes, violins, French horn, oboe, harpsichord, etc. ... And the orchestration is pleasantly minimalist: we are not drowned by a flood of violins supported by a thousand other notes, each intrument is intense and well mark his presence. (One often hears the murmurs in the solo flute is the kind of detail that I love magic.).

If, like me, you fill the "tchik tchik-boom-boom-boom-boom" I can only advise you to listen.
I'll put two to three songs on the radio favorite, you so you can make an opinion.

(Full Title of Album: Johann David Heinichen: Dresden Concerti, Musica Antiqua Köln, Reinhard Goebel.)

Series: Battlestar Galactica :

There are two good arguments for never having watched this series;
1 ° It has a crappy name. "Battlestar Galactica", if you are more cliche and heavy sing praise me. But everything has an explanation, this series is a remake of a sci-fi 70s. You know, those years of good ideas wrapped in bad taste? No. You do not know Zardoz, then a movie starring Sean Connery in orange slip? Too bad.
2 ° Do not like science fiction. Come out, please.

Battlestar Galactica is one of the best series in recent times, for several reasons. First episodes, long (40 minutes), after all the time a main frame, some more than others, but overall there is always a clue. It is not a serial extender (Besides the adventure will end at the fourth season.) Like many others.

Then the script is good, although from a very cliche idea (Humans create robots who rebel.) It improves and pushes the in its most intense. This scenario is served by excellent actors, believable, but most endearing while impalbables (This may seem paradoxical, but the psychology of certain characters is extremely complex and unpredictable, which does not give them a charismatic madman .). Who says
scenario called reversals, and these are (too) many, but always well seen by dint of great stuff to see happen (you know, when you're on your ass in front of a scene, gloating like a pig, and 'll launch a beautiful "AINAAURME!") can feel a little jaded.

Finally, the music is really, really fantastic. It glue to the action beautifully and has a unique style enya-martial. I understand.
Unfortunately, like all good series, there is a big danger of addiction. Not to begin before the blockade.

Flim: Howard the Duck :

Howard The Duck, one of the biggest failure of the film (with lots of awards: worst film, worst BO, the worst special effects ...).

The film says "George Lucas presents" obviously this argument "good film" has the anger in many. Because Howard is a nanard, but nanard 5 stars. Is stereotyped to bursting, the script can be written in two lines, consider: An alien humanoid duck is transported on land after an accident with an ultra powerful laser, but it will not be the only one Dark Lord of the universe "s'ammène too. And of course Howard is going to save the planet.

But it has its qualities, many scenes are deliciously kitsch (with humor in the fifth degree.), There's the zoophilia , I found the soundtrack very nice (Rock eighties what, it smells good the nostalgic. ) , and this duck is beautiful (and damn good). Oh, and the end is fantastic.
short it looks when you have a shot blues and want to cheer themselves up in bed, with Coke and popcorn.

Videogame: Professor Layton and the Curious Village (Nintendo DS) :
I know, we are bombarded by commercials for this game, but for once it does not bother me. For it is here, overlooking one of the best games console.

The concept is simple: it must solve a lot of puzzles (over 130) and stuff.
To give shape to all that the game is played as an adventure game, it runs through 2D arrays of rare finesse, to investigate the mysterious golden apple. The quest is allowed to follow with great pleasure, the narration is pleasant and the story is well put together. Of course, you will need to move forward together evidence that people give you if you help them solve various puzzles. It's beautiful, intelligent, enchanting.

The puzzles themselves are not all mandatory, and are of varying difficulty. Only one little problem: there really are too few puzzles very difficult, yet it is a pleasure to spend hours torturing the skull on a problem. Finally, I may be a little masochistic. Know that the game offers you 130 times to immense self-satisfaction, perfect for restore his ego.

Professor Layton is the perfect Christmas gift for people 10 to 70 years (My grandmother was strongly adhered.)! It is I who tell you!

Well, it hurts my fingers but I still finished in good and due form by wishing good luck to everyone for their exams! Happy and Noyes in advance! And Happy New Year!
